More work on Shore Fetilizers

I started on the delivery pits but I still need to install the pit screens between the tracks.

 I used pink foam to build the off loading area and used Tamiya deck tan and light grey for the paint job. I still need to paint the sides and do some weathering on it.

Shore Fertilizers update

I have done some more work to the tanker loading dock at Shore fertilizers.

 

The base and the hut are made from pink foam that has been cut into sheets that are 2mm thick and then scribed with a pencil. I use these sheets for a lot of my projects. I'll start work on the pipes next.



Construction update

I have been doing some work on Date City in the last week or two most of it has been power bus and feeder wires but there is also a mock up of the freight house on the team track.

Ballast For Wildwood Yard

I have started to balast Wildwood Yard.

Last Peninsula

I have started work on the bench work between Plant City and Yeoman yard.

Bench work here is 9mm ply with 25mm extruded foam on the Plant City side.

The track elevation drops from 42” to 40” here.

Devil’s Creek Sawmill makes some progress.

I’m still working on the same part of the layout.

I only have 1.5 inches between the backboard and the last rail so I have shaped some extruded foam to form some scenery up against the back board.

Here is my work for October on the roundhouse area.

I built a company house for the corner and scratch built the fence out of balsa strips

I started to put down some texture just south of Coleman on the climb to Lachoochee.
